We have completed a series of free online trainings conducted by the Training Team and project participants!
A total of more than 300 people from various academic centers participated in all the trainings. Dozens of people actively undertook to organize trainings at their Alma Mater. Trainings were held from October 2023, and the last training was conducted on July 3, 2024. In total, nearly 70 trainings were held as part of the Fully Empowered in Science project.
During the training, participants were able to learn about the current challenges facing people with disabilities and non-native speakers in academia. Attention was focused on the doctoral community and doctoral school education. Participants in the training learned about opportunities to level the playing field in the educational process and about the possibilities of doctoral governments in seeking to improve the situation of groups at risk of exclusion. Discussions were conducted in a brainstorming format, allowing participants to propose their own solutions to the challenges and risks presented, as well as to present actions already taken at their universities.
