📣We would like to invite you to a free online training course entitled: Equal Opportunities and Countering Exclusion in Academia, which will be held on December 3 (Tuesday) at 18:00 via MS Teams.
🔎Building an inclusive academic environment is a major challenge for higher education. However, there are emerging challenges hindering this process. Among them, one can see the dangers of possible exclusion of two groups: people with disabilities and non-native speakers. During the training, attention will be focused on the possibilities of counteracting the exclusion of the two groups mentioned above, both in terms of candidates and participants in higher education, with particular emphasis on doctoral education and the awarding of degrees. The second part of the training will be devoted to the possibility of implementation of self-government activities of a scientific and organizational nature by people with disabilities and people who do not speak Polish.
👤We invite all persons interested in this topic to participate, first of all representatives of doctoral self-governments, persons studying in Doctoral Schools and pursuing doctoral dissertations in another mode, as well as students, candidates for Doctoral Schools and employees of the University.
We encourage You to submit your participation via the form: https://forms.gle/e6Zt9vBZjX1a4g7fA
