📣We cordially invite you to participate in a series of workshops as part of the event “Understanding People with Disabilities”, which is a practical workshop where participants will be able to learn in practice the limitations and barriers that people with disabilities face on a daily basis that hinder activities in academic, social and local government life. The workshop was prepared in cooperation with experts in the field of functioning of people with disabilities.
🔸The first part of the workshop is entitled: Analyzing barriers and looking for their solutions
🔎 Participants will have the opportunity to get acquainted with special devices and objects (that people with disabilities use on a daily basis or that will help event participants feel like a person with disabilities, learn about their limitations).
👥The workshop meeting will be led by:
Dr. Anna Misiorek – for 16 years an employee of the Academy of Physical Education, currently in the Department of Applied Sciences, for 20 years a volunteer of the Catholic Association of People with Disabilities and Their Friends CLIKA. Areas of interest include disability, particularly its impact on daily functioning.
